Product-Led Growth (PLG)

Product-Led Growth (PLG) is a business methodology that focuses on creating products that are easy to use and understand, and that encourage users to become paying customers. With PLG, the product itself becomes the primary driver of customer acquisition, conversion, and retention. Instead of relying on traditional marketing and sales tactics, PLG companies use their product as a marketing tool to attract and retain customers. Examples of PLG companies include Dropbox, Slack, and Zoom, all of which have grown rapidly by offering products that are intuitive, easy to use, and that offer a free trial or freemium version to encourage adoption. By focusing on product-led growth, these companies have been able to create loyal customer bases and generate significant revenue without spending a lot on traditional marketing and sales efforts.
